Goal
TennFest (a.k.a. Tennis Festival) is to muster all tennis enthusiasts over the DC metropolitan area to play outdoor doubles on Saturday mornings at Reservoir High in Fulton. It takes place year round as long as weather permits (Felt temperatures > 53 F; Winds < 10mph). So far we've had more than 160 players from 15 countries. The first tourney is free but you need to bring a can of tennis balls. The winners will get extra tennis balls back -:) If you're a competitive player (USTA 3.7 or better), a good sport and committed to play for 3h+ serious but fun tennis, you're invited to join. The annual membership dues are $25. Please fill out the entry form and email back to us. You may bring the dues to Club Treasurer, Sam Shaibani, at your convenience. Each week we will take 12 players for a round-robin tourney. To sign up, just send us an email before Tuesday. We'll send the draw (see an example) before Thursday. You need to reply to that email to acknowledge your attendance. If we need to cancel the TennFest, it will be announced on the website and/or by the phone. Otherwise, TennFest is ON!!
